Perlin Flame Version 2

May 2 2007

I took another crack a making the flame look a little more real for a project I'm working on. Using the same code from the previous post, I added a fire pit and some smoke.

The fire pit is low res, but we'll eventually get a high res shot in there once we get further into the project.

Man, I've been looking all over the web to find out how a flame I saw in a Flash site is done and finally, I found this. This is... I don't know how to put it... gorgeous? Perfect? Mind blowing? I'd really love to learn how to do this, but unfortunatly my action script skills are sucky to say the best... so, I'm asking you - coul you possibly send me a .fla file of this? You won't get anything out of it, except for the question "why the heck did I help a stranger!?", but to me it would be really realy nice...

If you wish to help out, my e-mail is skullman_86 [@] yahoo [dot] com

    Many thanks :)
